Per Olsson's work of art, classical compositions are vibrating of decadence, with the purpose of touching the perpetrator with his timeless aesthetics, as well as challenging the norms that occur both unconsciously and consciously. But at the same time also pay attention and celebrate the stylish appeal of the clothing codes that come with some subcultures and sports.
His crisp and clearly arranged photographs perceives of the eternal works from icons like Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Anton Corbijn and Guy Bourdin. Conscious, confident, brave, sensual women with the attitude of perfect misplaced rhinoceros, flamingos and horses in clear colors generate dynamic energy and form a visual magic.
– After a lot of preparation and that I, together with my colleague, selected different locations and models with precision, I come to the places where I want to shot the already "finished" images in my head. Everything is certainly not carved in stone because once I have taken the planned pictures I also do a series of photos on pure experience mixed with the feeling that appears for the moment, says Per Olsson.
Lars Tunebo is an established Swedish artist born in 1962 in Lysekil, now living and working in Gothenburg. Lars is and autodidact who works with various techniques and materials in a original mixed media style, including bronze, glass, painting and photography. His works are displayed in Los Angeles, Monaco, London, Moscow, Dubai, Copenhagen, Brussels, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Marbella, and are available in both public and private collections. Lars is best known for his photo productions of animals in unusual situations, including elephants in urban New York City environments and balanced on their heads in London.
The images are processed with different effects and filters in multiple layers by hand and then with clear translucent colors and individual effects. Tunebos sense of humor, timing and imagination makes it possible for him to create images that are constantly surprising and astonishing, which gives the viewer joy.
Per Olsson is from Värmland and grew up with rock n 'roll and diesel in the blood and has a solid background from photo assignments in the advertising and fashion industry. Per is famous for his raw, scaled fashion images and intense music videos. His pics have been published in magazines such as Elle, Plaza, Cosmopolitan and more, both nationally and internationally. Per Olsson's true passion for fashion, cars, film and lighting guarantees the consistently high quality and exceptional feeling. Per works with Canon 5d mark III and Nikon d3 cameras and has photographed for well-known companies such as Volvo, Löfbergs Purple, Ciba Vision, Koppartrans, Spendrups. And Lars creates his motives in a well-proven mixed media technique.
The exhibition starts with an appearance at a pop-up gallery in Marbella, then featured at galleries and art dealers in Dubai, Amsterdam, London and New York as well as at a number of selected art fairs around the world.
