The change, the evolution of the creative process and its manifestation through the states of the engraving, are the subjects on which I will work for a few years. Through photography and design, an integral part of my work, development of engravings usually in series initially indefinable until reaching, with the final work, concreteness. Texts like "The Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino and "Der steppen Wolf" by Herman Hesse, helped me in the elaboration of the idea behind some projects, even today in the books of these authors I find the inspiration I seek. In the last years of university in Urbino in contact with the world of art publishing and typography, set towards a new artistic experimentation of the techniques of engraving. In particular my interest is captured by Collografia, a technique that allows me to deepen the gestural and texture of the engraving.
My two-year graduation thesis will be based on the experimental graphics. During this course I had the opportunity to interview artists and printers including Hector Saunier, heir to William Hayter and Atelier 17. In parallel, from the experimentation that took place through the Monotype, the AVIS project, in which characters metamorphic halfway between birds and humans, will be the protagonists of a story entitled Under The Trees.
At the moment my attention is on the graphic experimentation and on the subject.
