My dream was to be a commercial photographer (I discovered it while studying architecture at Lund University).
And I became.
And industrial too. Pictures that could take, days and weeks to build in my studio.
And then, slowly, after years of training, ageing to be more social, I became a portrait photographer.
To me, that was impossible in the beginning. In school, The Art Academy in Southern Netherlands at Breda, I did not understand anything about portraying. The aim of that excellent education was to find your style, your thin, red line.
Now after more than 35 years, I do mostly portraits, but even still products and houses, architecture.
The studio in central Lund is quite big and versatile. Lots of light possibilities, props...- and hats also among all the things on the shelves...
Every motive can become an interesting image. Probably
