Born in the US and raised in Europe, I spent most of my childhood in Spain, Portugal, England, and West Africa, as well as shorter stays in a few other countries. My father, a hydraulic engineer in developing countries for the UN, and my mother, who worked for the New York Times, traveled extensively, exposing me to a rich and diverse upbringing, which undoubtedly influenced my artistic style.
Returning to the US, I first lived in New York City, then in Los Angeles, eventually settling in South Florida, and went on to study marine biology, film, and literature at the University of Miami.
