I am half-sick of shadows, said the Lady of Shalott
I’ve been inspired by John William Waterhouse’s painting of the Maiden of Shalott, and the exhibition's title is a quote from the British 1800-century poet Alfred Tennysons poem of the same name.
Here I’m presenting a play with ideas and conventions, eroticism, love and death, faith and profanity, obedience and rebellion, strength and vulnerability.
